Gpi Group achieves ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certifications

Gpi Group is proud to announce that it has successfully achieved group-wide certifications for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001. These certifications apply to all subsidiaries within the Gpi Group, including Gpi Tanks, Gpi Tanks XL, Gpi De Gouwe, Gpi Poland, and BMN. This marks a significant step forward in embedding quality, safety, and environmental awareness throughout the organization.

By obtaining these certifications, Gpi underscores its commitment to quality, the environment, and safety. ISO 9001 is globally recognized for quality management, ISO 14001 focuses on environmentally conscious and sustainable practices, and ISO 45001 is the international standard for occupational health and safety. These certifications strengthen Gpi Group’s position in the market and demonstrate its determination to deliver high-quality products and services within a safe and sustainable environment.

First group-wide certification

COO Gerard Blok highlights the progress made: “We are extremely proud of this achievement. In a short period, we transitioned from three separate ISO 9001 certificates to group-wide certifications for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 for the entire Gpi Group and all our subsidiaries. This expansion firmly embeds quality, safety, and environmental awareness in our policies.”

QA/QC Manager Martin Uittenbogaard discusses the importance of the certifications for customers: “Integrating all subsidiaries into our quality manual demonstrates our commitment not only to product and welding quality but also to ensuring customer satisfaction and consistent processes. These certifications provide our customers with the reassuring guarantee of consistent quality and reliability in all our products and services, across all Gpi Group subsidiaries.”

Positive impact on employee well-being

For HSE Manager Theo van de Wetering, who focuses on safety and well-being, expanding the quality manual to include ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is crucial: “For our employees, this means that their safety and well-being are prioritized within our company. We invest in a safe working environment and environmentally conscious practices so that everyone can work healthily and safely. Ultimately, this also enhances the sense of pride and engagement within the company.”

The certifications confirms Gpi Group’s commitment to high-quality products and services, with quality, safety, and environmental awareness at its core.
